My first ever indoor concert shoot, and I couldn’t be happier to have my Danish friends from Loksmith as the subjects. Originally, I was set to attend the show as an audience member only, but when the band asked for audience images as their usual live photographers were unavailable, I volunteered to give it my best shot and brought along my mirrorless camera. Loksmith are Bastian (guitar), William (lead guitar), Malte (bass), and Valdemar (drums) from Copenhagen, and they’re as tight as they’re dynamic; thanks to the trust the band placed in me despite my lack of experience, I was able to capture some of that energy, which I’m grateful for to this day. For a band their size, they punch well above their weight, and if you get a chance to see one of their shows, I highly recommend you take it. There’s a decent chance I’ll be there, too.
